Me and the Soviet spent a couple of days in Sweden over the weekend. It was pretty chilled out. Everything is clean, everything works. The food is great and the people are friendly (and they seem pretty happy to speak English with me). It's a very charming country.
Special thanks to Rikard from Motorcycle Rental Stockholm who took the time out to bring us on a guided tour. It was a memorable (if somewhat chilly) experience!

The Honda Pan European is exceptionally comfortable and makes a ton of torque. It's not terribly different to my CBR1000F in character but the CBR is better handling and much lighter and quicker. I really liked the Pan, but I don't think I could live with the tiny boxes for two-up touring.

Soviet and Rickard at Upsalla palace. Note the palace guns pointing at the cathedral in the background!

Soviet sugar shock... We visited quite a number of Fabrique bakeries over the course of the trip.

Aprillia 50. Apparently motorcycle theft is a non issue in Sweden. |

This Suzuki (?) looked like it hasn't been used for a while. It was parked in the centre of town and doesn't appear to have any additional security devices.

A tasty newish Ducati Monster wearing a disk lock, but not actually attached to anything.
