I mentioned before that the Cagiva front wheel wouldn't fit the Aprilia forks.
The easiest way to overcome this would be to change the wheel bearing for items with a larger inside diameter. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate appropriate sized bearings.
I could also have had the wheel hub machined to accommodate larger bearings. This would have meant a trip to an engineer's shop and would probably be a bit spendy!
Which just left the option of machining up a new axle to suit the Cagiva wheel bearings and the Aprilia forks.
So I did.
