I got the Stealth KLR back in one piece today and went for a spin.
It's a couple of years since I rode a dirt-bike off road and I feel very rusty, But it's quite a gentle and un-scary bike! It's a good bit lighter than my old XL600 (and a lot lighter than my Africa Twin!!) and the power delivery is much softer. I'm very happy with it.
There are still a couple of things left to do like sort out the carb (it's fine at the bottom and mid range but the top end is way out of whack) and secure the silencer to the frame.
And on the subject of the silencer - it's obnoxiously loud. I need to look into making a baffle...
