In other nostalgia news, artist Berke Breathed has announced that comic strip Bloom County is to return after a 25 year hiatus.
One part Doonesbury to three parts Calvin and Hobbes, but weirder and funnier than either, Bloom County illuminated the absurdities of the '80s American political landscape and popular culture in general.
The news makes me happy, nostalgic and oddly hopeful. I've spent much of the morning reading old Bloom County strips on the internet with tears of laughter rolling down my face.
