Max Headroom

You have probably heard of (and possibly even remember) Max Headroom, the global cultural phenomenon of the latter half of '80s.

But did you know that he was originally envisaged as a Music TV presenter for the UK's Channel 4?

Rather than just foist him on an unsuspecting and unprepared TV-watching public, it was felt that he would need contextualisation. So they made an apocalyptic, dystopian, cyberpunk TV movie outlining his backstory.
